Remedial Massage

Remedial massage; is the assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. Remedial massage increases the flow of blood and lymph, particularly in the injured areas, thus releasing and clearing blockages, scar tissue and adhesions resulting from injury.

A safe and effective treatment for muscular pain, sports injuries and restricted mobility.

Small needles (the same as those used in acupuncture) are inserted into trigger points on the body as a way of releasing tight muscles and to facilitate the healing process.

 

Deep Tissue Massage

Using firm deep massage strokes to release tight muscles, breaking down long standing adhesions and scar tissue.

 

Pregnancy Massage

A healing and nurturing massage experience for this very important time in your life.
